Clean water is vital to sustain life, support industry, and grow communities. But too often, the practices and placement of industry, and the challenges and inequities within communities disproportionately harm Latinx, Black, and low-income communities. Through the environmental justice movement, women of color are at the helm of repairing environmental harm and building a more equitable future in which all communities have clean air and water.

Join us during Hispanic Heritage Month for a conversation with Latina leaders in the environmental justice movement. Panelists will reflect on their experiences fighting for clean water and healthy communities, with plenty of time for questions. Panelists’ expertise span grassroots organizing, municipal policy and planning, and state and federal advocacy.
