USAID is pleased to announce four new grantees from its Resilient, Inclusive, Sustainable Environments (RISE) Challenge who will work to address gender-based violence (GBV) in forestry and wildlife conservation sectors. Advancing Gender in the Environment (AGENT), a partnership between USAID and IUCN, invites you to join us on International Human Rights Day to reflect on the end of this year's 16 Days Campaign to End Violence Against Women Campaign, as well as welcome these four new grantees. The grantees from Guatemala, Kenya, Peru, and Vietnam will shed light on the challenges and strategies to address GBV in forestry and wildlife conservation sectors. IUCN will also share new programming and project planning tools to inform and support further action to address GBV in environmental programming.
