The field of environmental law has seen many changes throughout the past decades. There have been demonstrable legal and policy victories for cleaner air and water. And while the face of the environmental movement at its beginnings was predominantly male, women have become more prominent and influential within environmental law and policy over the decades. Join ELI’s Women in Environmental Law and Leadership Initiative for a webinar featuring a panel of women who are deeply experienced in environmental law and up-and-coming stars in the field to offer a look at their experiences from different generational perspectives. They will explore opportunities and challenges for women in environmental law and policy “then and now” and discuss advice for the next generation of lawyers and policymakers breaking into the field.
