Women represent a large share of the world’s agricultural workers and face disproportionate climate impacts. But they are also at the forefront of climate change adaptation efforts and must be centered in solutions.GIWPS is proud to co-host an event at the UN Climate Change Conference in Egypt on “Climate Security & Agriculture: Strategies for Inclusive Adaptation” along with CGIAR, The Rockefeller Foundation, and the Government of Ireland on Thursday, November 11 from 10:00AM-10:45AM (Egypt) in the Food and Agriculture Pavilion.

For those who will be at COP27, we encourage you to join policymakers who will announce a key commitment on locally-based climate-smart agriculture solutions and hear from grassroots leaders who will share strategies for ensuring an inclusive and resilient global food system.
