Around the globe, women and girls remain uncounted, undervalued and underrepresented in policy and programs—including in data used by the international development community to set priorities and make funding decisions. Feminist research methods can make a crucial contribution to turning the tide, supporting on-the-ground experts from marginalized communities to document the lived realities of women, girls and other vulnerable populations.

Panelists from research and grassroots organizations in India, Mexico, Brazil and Egypt will share their experiences of gathering evidence to bring visibility to the lived realities of women, girls and those in vulnerable situations.
