This session explores the linkages between gender equality, women’s empowerment and climate change by highlighting the differentiated impacts of climate change, and how they exacerbate existing gender inequalities. Come learn about the urgent need to accelerate the move away from business-as-usual towards low carbon, climate resilient economies and societies. Panelists will present examples of how to promote, facilitate and embed justice into climate policy and action to ensure the long-term sustainability and effectiveness of solutions.
