Only using mainstreaming and sensitisation interventions in agricultural programmes is not enough if we want to tap into the economic potential of women‘s contribution to agricultural productivity. Innovative and daring programme interventions are presented that address social norms and barriers for women and follow the reach-benefit-empower principles.
