Phase I Implementation Report (2024-2025) Chad, Mongolia and Ukraine
In 2024–2025, in partnership with the Government of France, UNDP established and implemented Phase I of the Global Women, Peace and Security Initiative in Chad, Mongolia and Ukraine, investing €1 million to advance women’s leadership in peacebuilding, recovery and climate resilience. Guided by the four pillars of United Nations Security Council resolution 1325—participation, protection, prevention, and relief and recovery—the initiative generated tangible results in five priority areas: women’s economic empowerment, leadership and participation, social cohesion, climate resilience and institutional strengthening. Reflecting 12 months of implementation, this report captures success stories and lessons learned to inform future programming.
