Sustainable peacebuilding requires a comprehensive and inclusive approach that addresses the root causes of conflict while fostering long-term stability and harmony within societies. Traditionally, peacebuilding efforts have often been dominated by elite political negotiations, military interventions, and externally driven agendas. However, there is increasing recognition of the importance of involving local communities, especially youth and women, in the peacebuilding process. The inclusion of these groups brings unique perspectives, transformative potential, and innovative solutions to the complex challenges that underpin conflict and instability.
