Call for Case Studies on Gender-Responsive Environmental Programming

IUCN
View Original

The IUCN Human Rights in Conservation Team is currently working on a publication on the environmental and social outcomes of gender-responsive environmental and climate programming. The publication will be based on existing data and analyses, with an emphasis on control groups and A-B testing methodologies that measure these impacts. To complement this analysis, we are looking to collect case studies from environmental practitioners that demonstrate the impacts of gender-responsive programming – or the lack thereof – as well as the identification of enabling factors, gaps and challenges of integrating gender and collecting impact data.

We invite you to fill out this survey to submit case studies, from either published documents or your own experience, and respond to a few questions on challenges and best practices for measuring outcomes of gender mainstreaming in environmental programming.

The deadline for submissions is December 20th.

Please do not hesitate to reach out to gender@iucn.org if you have any questions.
