ActionAid Australia supports climate resilience and women’s leadership projects through local partners. In Kenya, the GRACC project promotes gender-responsive approaches to climate change, especially in drought-affected communities. To showcase the impact of this work, ActionAid is seeking female lead qualified consultant or media team to document compelling human-interest stories, photography, and videography of women participating in the GRACC project in Kathonzweni and Tangulbei.
The documentation exercise aims to:
- Capture how climate change and gender inequality affect women’s lives and livelihoods.
- Highlight the impact of women-led initiatives such as the GRACC project and VSLAs (Village Savings and Loans Associations).
- Document shifts in gender norms, climate adaptation practices, and women's leadership.
- Produce empowering and ethical multimedia content for reporting and awareness.
