The Global Environment Facility (GEF), the United Nations (UN), and the Sudanese government are mobilising $23.6 million for the preservation of biodiversity in Dinder National Park, Jebel El Dair National Park and Dungonab Bay - Mukkawar National Marine Park (DMNP). The funds will also be used for ecotourism development.
