Young People Taking Action Against the Causes of Violence in their Communities

This month, more than 40 young men and women gathered in Kaga Bandoro, Central African Republic to work on their youth-led local action plans. The plans have been developed by the young people to find solutions to the conflict triggers they have identified in their local area.

Among the conflict triggers identified, land use, availability of youth convening spaces and water management were considered as priority areas for further analysis. Of these, water management came top of the list as an essential resource needed by everyone.
