Opportunity to Contribute to a "Glossary of Environmental Peacebuilding Terms"

The Environmental Peacebuilding Association (EnPAx) is leading a process to develop a "Glossary of Environmental Peacebuilding Terms." This glossary will help to consolidate and build the field of environmental peacebuilding by helping to build a shared understanding of key terms and concepts, as well as highlight different understandings of those terms and concepts.

We will launch the process at the Third International Conference on Environmental Peacebuilding during a consultative workshop to be held on Tuesday, June 18, 2024, from 1:30-3:00. This workshop will foster collaboration among participants to review draft terms and start to craft definitions for outstanding terms. The abstract for this workshop can be found here. EnPAx is encouraging the environmental peacebuilding community -- researchers, practitioners, decisionmakers, and students from around the world -- to engage in this workshop.

The in-person workshop will launch the process, which will be continued virtually.  If you are not able to join us in person, we encourage you to let us know of your interest. For those who would like to engage in the process of developing the Glossary (whether in person or remotely), please complete the following form: https://forms.gle/jgE5bs26fZtqjjy87.

EnPAx will reach out to people who have expressed interest with an initial draft list of proposed glossary terms, a sample of a proposed entry (for style), and additional information.
