This piece highlights impactful women-led climate change initiatives around the world. As climate change intensifies, its impacts disproportionately affect women due to existing gender inequalities. Women often lack access to resources, bear more caregiving responsibilities, and are underrepresented in decision-making. Despite these challenges, women around the world are emerging as leaders in climate adaptation efforts. These women-led initiatives show that climate action can also promote gender equality, empower communities, and build resilience.
